I usually associate the shape “X” with the idea of a fixed point: a precise location, a static mark on the map.
In this work, created as part of the Circulation series, that reference transforms into dynamism and almost vertiginous speed—a sensation that led me to make this capture.
As in life, everything happens too fast.
“Too Fast” is part of the Movement series, a set of eleven works that explore the analogy between road circulation systems and our own circulatory system, seeking to record movement and flow through still images.
